XXBC Fall/Winter 2013 Is All Of The Things Pretty Much Everyone Likes

None

Alex Lee, Four Pins contributor of New York bizarre fashions, and Will Thompson are ready to present their first ever full collection under their XXBC label. Describing the collection as "Cash Money Records, Crosby Deli, Coogi suits, Norma Kamali 1981, your grandmother’s living room sofa and FUBU," XXBC F/W 13 is all of the things pretty much everyone likes. Talk about a solid start. As for the clothes themselves, you're looking at a heather grey sweatsuit featuring horizontal cotton floral panels. The fit is a total winner—check the oversized sleeves—and is certainly reminiscent of the late '80s/early '90s, as the lookbook so cleverly suggests. Both Alex and Will work downtown at NYC cool guy mecca Opening Ceremony, which for years has re-envisioned the styles of decades past for a modern, risk-taking audience. To say this informs XXBC's designs seems pretty accurate. Most of the info surrounding the collection is currently under wraps, which is kinda fucked up because we though we were friends, but be sure to keep an eye out. We'll let you know more soon.
