What's That Collabo, Margiela?

None

Swedish fashion giant H&M, known for collaborating with famous fashion houses to produce collections for them, has done it again and teamed up with Maison Martin Margiela to produce both a women’s and men’s collection that will go on sale November 15. The collection will be sold both online and in 230 stores worldwide. If history is any indicator, this collection may attract hordes of customers, with varying levels of discernible taste, given Kanye West’s very public affinity for the French fashion house. Margiela, known for their avante-garde aesthetic, noted the stark differences in both brands could actually be an unexpected advantage; a bit like a fashion yin-yang. “We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all,” the brand said in a press release. We're not sure Martin Margiela would have ever approved such a publicly pandering deal considering he's the kind of guy that has only approved one picture of himself to be released. Ever.
