If you want a post on Four Pins, either show your collection very early or very late. It's pretty much a foolproof plan. Seriously. Normally, we would include Steven Alan in one of our NYFW wrap-up posts, but since it's basically a week early (and the news cycle is a little bit slow, Kanye x Adidas aside), let's show off how much Steven Alan has blown it out lately. Steven Alan used to feel kinda like a bland #menswear 1.0 operation, but in the past few seasons has really upped the ante similarly to what's currently happening at Rag & Bone. It hasn't done crazy drop crotches or wicked technical materials or anything like that, but this isn't your standard twisted plackets for the SoHo business casual set anymore. F/W 15's full of insanely long sweaters, belted outerwear, of-the-moment baggy pants and long bombers all done in neutral-heavy colors—very much the recipe for men's fashion success in 2015. And you already know I'm so down for the cream.
