Even though it lacks double zippers, this Stampd LA bomber (availabe in black and olive) is on fucking point. It feels like an ode or spiritual successor, if you will, to the S/S 2002 bondage-themed Helmut Lang collection, one of the foremost collections of the early aughts. It would be super cool to have a piece from that collection, but considering I was 13 when it came out, I'm not sure that's an option. And hey, some of us don't have $500-$1,000 to buy an actual archival piece from the runway. So, what's the next best option? Not buying a dope bomber jacket? LMAO I don't believe that's ever an option. But, for under $300, you can swoop in and snag the Stampd rendition then talk with your friends about how it's inspired by lord Helmut and not derivative at all like the rip-offs at, like, Topman or whatever, that sacrifice quality in the name of affordability and mass-market sales. The only thing I would change about it is to immediately remove the white Stampd tag on the MA-1 sleeve pocket. Shit kinda looks like a lanyard TBH. And we don't need any of that college freshman steeze up in this bitch. Sorry, Chris.
