It's coming. After first being unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in January, we now have a release date for the second, and final, A.P.C. KANYE collection, and that date is July 17th. As we learned back in the winter, the collaboration is a much more complete range of garments than last year's effort, including new, cotton, military-inspired pants, oversized, split hem sweaters, outerwear, shirts and even accessories. And yet, while we thought A.P.C. KANYE F/W 14 would also include a patch beanie, it doesn't appear to be in the new collection (the patch does appear on a sweatshirt, however). That said, we are excited to see that the standout outerwear, particularly the dope fur-lined parka, have remained fully in it, even if the evidently DRKSHDW-influenced hooded coat has unfortunately been removed. Perhaps the inclusion of fur-lined garments has something to do with Jean Touitou's recent, self-admitted abandonment of minimalism. Prices in the offering are, as to be expected, higher than your typical A.P.C. garments, with the military pants coming in at $385, the denim shirt at $265 and the fur-lined parka at whopping $2865.
