Leave it to the folks at Beaverton to cook up all sorts of cool shit for your feet like this new sneaker that's part of their SB line. The kicker is that they're adapted from the old Challenge Court tennis sneaker that a certain someone made famous back in the '80s. Nike SB's Gino Ianucci reinvents and retools the classic tennis shoe with the help of its ambassador, John McEnroe, to make it skate worthy and we must say it's pretty on par with the OGs. It's a perfect union because McEnroe debuted the Challenge Court early in his career and, in turn, influenced Gino, who began playing tennis almost the same time he started skating in the late 1980s. The result of this rich history in both sports is the Nike SB Challenge Court. They've added things like a lightweight Lunarlon sockliner/midsole to cushion your feet when you're trying to land some gnarly McTwists and all that other crazy shit. They'll be available for $80 on August 23 at select skate shops.
