Wait, Sneakers In Winter?

None

Unfortunately, we all remember the Sochi games earlier this year in which Nike outfitted all the U.S. Olympians with their very own pair of Flyknit Trainer Chukka FSBs in that black/volt colorway. Yeah, those were and are trash. There's a reason there's essentially a full size run still available online. However, Nike is righting their wrong with an upcoming variation on an almost identical silhouette they're now calling the "SFB" (um, wut?). Ripped straight from the Nike Lab Instagram, because we are a sneaker blog now, are two new brand new colorways: an olive-like "sage" and a complete white out. The new joints come with a little more support in the toe and heel of the shoe through reinforced Flyknit construction. It's almost as if Nike has been on all the YouTube channels and sneaker forums where people are asking if they can wear sneakers in winter or if they really need a pair of boots. Clearly, Nike doesn't want you to not wear sneakers, so they threw a more rugged outsole on this bitch and called it a day. I mean, slightly more structured Flyknit AND a combat sole? We all might as well just drop any boots from the team. You can pick these up on October 9th at Nike Lab. No word on price yet, but expect them to hover around the $200 mark.
