Carhartt Work In Progress makes fun shit that looks good. Full stop. When a "regular Joe" asks me where to get clothes that will make him look good, but not cost too much money and also don't look too fashion-y, I'm going to start recommending Carhartt WIP instead of J.Crew. And this S/S 15 collection is the perfect form thus far. It has the signature Carhartt workwear steez that will never go away, but mixes it perfectly with colors and patterns more at home in the city than the countryside. It's not all simple, wardrobe basics either. As you get deeper in the lookbook, shit starts to pick up speed. At the beginning, everything is a little bit safe. Think, button-ups, navy and white pin dot patterns, shorts, etc. But the latter half of the collection feels a bit more magnetic and cool—a bit weirder almost. There's an all white angelic fit, neon cuffs and some wilder Cav Empt-esque patterns. By the end of it, you're left wishing shit would keep moving just so you could see how far they're willing to go. Basically, it's like watching all of the Fast And Furious movies in order.
