According to 9to5Mac, Apple is training its staff to dole out fashion advice to customers when it comes to selling the highly-anticipated Apple Watch, which releases on April 24th. The company has given employees a training regimen based around a bunch of pre-made, sample customers, like the hip, mid-20s woman and the guy who wears a casual suit to everything. Either way, I'm hoping all the recommendations revolve around this.

Of course, selling a fashion accessory is much different than a piece of wearable technology, though it's pretty unlikely someone thinking about buying an Apple Watch will actually need convincing. But from the crazy in-depth 9to5 post, you can see some of the stuff Apple expects from its store employees, like commenting on the colors and style they think would vibe well with the customer. It's about to get pretty fucking weird when all of a sudden you have a Genius telling you what Apple Watch best matches your eyes. With the hiring of former Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, it's only right that the employees have at least a little background and understanding of style, I guess. And, overall, this is a pretty kosher guide to getting some nerd to buy a digital watch that they probably don't really need from another nerd with small to moderate gauges in their ear, a goatee and sagging cargo pants.

"What time is it? Hold on, let me look at my Apple Watch. Oh, that's right, time to be a gigantic fucking nerd." [Editor's note: Skylar, stop stealing my jokes.]
